Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in and contribute to the 4th European Symposium on Biopolymers (ESBP2007) titled "Molecular Basis, Production and Applications of Biopolymers in Biotechnology, Biomedicine and Nanobiomaterials" to be held in Kuşadası, Turkey, during October 2 - 4, 2007. This is 4th biannual meeting where scientists and engineers involved in studying the mechanism of biopolymer production and use will gather to exchange results and ideas. Our emphasis will be on the molecular basis, production and application in various areas such as biotechnology and biomedicine. The new addtional topic of this meeting is nanobiomaterials which benefits immensely from the developments in the biopolymer research.

The expertise of our International Scientific Committee and invited speakers covers all these fields to ensure a very high scientific standard. We hope to reach many researchers in this field to increase the spectrum of research presented and especially encourage young researchers and graduate students to present their work for constructive evaluation by their peers. This meeting could also be a venue for bringing together a strong team that could apply for FP7 funding.

Kuşadası is both historically and touristically a wonderful area to visit. We believe this meeting will be the first of many visits that you would make to the area.
