Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering:

Hydrogels, controlled drug (antibiotic, pain reliever, growth factor, anticancer agent) delivery, responsive systems and liposomes, tissue engineering (bone, cartilage, retinal pigment epithelial cells, cornea, nerve, cardiac tissue), biodegradable polymers, hard tissue repair, nanobiomaterials.  

Biotechnology:

Biosensors, bioreactors, biodegradation (pesticides, biopolymers)
